We’ve been growing high quality nursery stock since 2008
Established in 2006 originally as Cornersville Nursery, landscape installation was our primary business at that time. After buying in all the plant material for landscape projects a decision was made to start our own in ground nursery. We planted our first trees on 30 acres in Federalsburg, Maryland in 2008. In 2009 and 2010 we were able to add a total of 40 acres in Hurlock, Maryland. The name was changed in 2016 to Hubbard Road Tree Farm, this allowed us to separate the nursery from the landscaping and focus more on growing quality nursery stock.
Our most recent investment was an additional 16 acres in Hurlock In 2016.
By using proper weed management, sustainable above ground and sub terrain drip irrigation we grow strong, adaptive nursery stock which can flourish in many different soils and climates.
IPM, or Integrated Pest Management is an environmentally sound pest management program where natural predators are protected and trees are only treated once they have reached an action threshold.
When planting new trees, we give them plenty of room to grow and then use proper pruning techniques to offer full, dense and properly shaped plant material.
We sell wholesale to garden centers, re-wholesalers, nursery centers and also to landscapers throughout the mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions.
We have no minimum order and every customer is important to us. All of our trees are harvested using Dutchman tree spades, giving them more roots and plenty of soil to avoid transplant shock.
